How to make it:

1 lb ground turkey
1-1/2 cups onion chopped
2 Tbs dried parsley
2 Cloves fresh garlic minced
1/2 tsp salt
1-1/2 tsp Italian seasonings
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1 Can (14 1/4-ounces) stewed tomatoes
undrained
1 Can (8-ounces) tomato sauce
1 Can (8-ounces) tomato paste
2 tsp sugar
1/2 cup dry red wine
1/2 cup water (if desired)
In 3-quart saucepan, combine turkey, onion, parsley,
garlic, Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes. Saute over
medium-high heat for 7 to 8 minutes or until turkey is no
longer pink.
Add stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt,
sugar and red wine (and water if desired).
Bring to a boil; immediately reduce heat to medium and
simmer uncovered for 15 minutes.
Serve over cooked pasta or use as a flavorful lasagna
sauce.
